Delivery Policy

MAS Medical Ltd use a third party carrier for all deliveries. Delivery charges are dependant upon dimensions, weight and location.

For off-shore and remote areas including Northern Ireland, Highlands, Isle of Man, Isle of Wight, Channel Islands and Scottish Islands a supplementary delivery cost may apply.

Goods held in our warehouse are usually delivered within 48 hours of receipt of order, although bulky or fragile items may take longer.

All products are subject to availability.

Any dates specified by the MAS Medical Ltd for delivery of goods are intended to be an estimate and time for delivery shall not be made of the essence by notice.

All delivery prices include delivery to the door (ground floor only) UK mainland. Delivery cost does not include going on the premises, negotiating stairs or lifts, unpacking, positioning or assembling items. The Buyer needs to ensure that all products will fit through doorways and into premises. MAS Medical Ltd will not accept responsibility for any goods that will not fit. Any carriage charges caused by aborted delivery are the Buyers responsibility.

MAS Medical Ltd will not be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss (all three of which terms include, without limitation, loss of profits, loss of business, depletion of goodwill and like loss), costs, damages, charges or expenses caused directly or indirectly by any delay in the delivery of the Goods.

Any delay in delivery will not entitle the Buyer to cancel the order. MAS Medical Ltd will not be liable for failure or delay in delivery of the goods, if it is due to an event beyond the reasonable control of the company.

The Buyer must ensure that someone is on site to accept and sign for delivery. Any signature taken to accept delivery is binding.

If for any reason the Buyer will not accept delivery of any of the Goods when they are ready for delivery, or the MAS Medical Ltd is unable to deliver the Goods on time because the Buyer has not provided appropriate instructions, documents, licences or authorisations:

  • Risk in the Goods will pass to the Buyer (including for loss or damage caused by the Company’s negligence)
  • The Goods will be deemed to have been delivered; and
  • MAS Medical Ltd may store the Goods until delivery where upon the Buyer will be liable for all related costs and expenses (including, without limitation, storage and insurance).
  • For items, where a delivery attempt has been made and failed due to customer error, a subsequent delivery charge may be made.

The delivery date referred to in the Company's acknowledgement of order shall only be regarded an estimate of the actual date of delivery. The Company shall not be bound to deliver on the estimated delivery date nor shall the Company be liable for any delay in delivery unless specifically agreed in writing from the Company's head office.

Where delivery is delayed upon the buyers request or due to the lack of delivery instructions, or due to the buyers delayed payment of his account the Company shall have the right to charge storage costs, which the buyer shall pay. Storage shall be charged at 2% of invoice value for each completed month which delivery is delayed beyond the stated delivery date.

If the Company attempts to effect delivery, and such an attempted delivery is abortive due to the buyers refusal to accept goods for whatsoever reason, unless the buyer has given the Company reasonable written notice of the buyers wish to postpone the delivery date, the Company shall have the right to charge the buyer with all costs and expenses of the abortive delivery.

The Company may make, and the buyer shall accept partial deliveries when required by the Company.

On delivery all risk in connection with the goods shall pass to the buyer.

The buyer shall be solely responsible for the cost of protecting the equipment from damage or destruction after delivery, howsoever caused.

What Information is MAS Medical Limited gathering about visitors and how is it being used?

Every computer connected to the Internet is provided with a domain name (e.g. earthlink.net) and an IP Address (e.g. 192.164.13.145). When a visitor requests a page from within the MAS Medical Limited website, our Web Servers automatically identify and log the HTTP request that is made to our Web Server. This information reveals nothing personal about you. In fact, the only information that we automatically gather and log is as follows;

Your IP address of the web page that you may have linked to us from, if any.
The product identifier for version and make of browser (e.g. Internet Explorer 4.5).
The operating system platform that you may be running (e.g. Macintosh or Windows).
Search words or terms that are passed from a search engine (e.g. Google, Yahoo, or Lycos).
The IP address of the site that may have referred you.

There is nothing unusual about the information just described, and the practice of collecting this data has been generally standardised by virtually every Web Server on the Internet today.

The purpose for this information is actually two-fold. One, MAS Medical Limited has found it advantageous to examine visitor traffic in its aggregate, so that we can ensure maximum compatibility for the various Browsers and Operating Systems that visit our site. Additionally, as any business should attest, it is our desire to generate greater amounts of visitor traffic. By analysing visitation patterns, referring URLs and Search Engine terms, we can strategically enhance our exposure on the Internet.

            What about Cookies?

We may also request your e-mail address or mailing address for the purposes of conducting a survey, adding you to our mailing list, or by your request to have someone contact you for additional information. Whenever we request the identity of a visitor, we will clearly indicate the purpose of the inquiry before the information is requested. We maintain a strict "No Spam" policy that means we do not intend to sell, rent, or otherwise give your e-mail address to a third-party, without your consent.

In addition, MAS Medical Limited will not send you e-mail that you have not agreed to receive. If you are a member of our Mailing List, you will be contacted with announcements, news, portfolio additions, and new products or services. You have the option of "Unsubscribing" from our Mailing List at any time, thereby disabling any further such e-mail communication from being sent to you.
